This week we had a Zoom talk from Louise Cooke CEO and founder of Sharewear in Daybrook, Nottingham. Many people are aware of the need and tremendous work Foodbanks do but as we were told clothing poverty runs along side food poverty. We were also told of the need for clothing at the hospitals in the area. Research was done in wards there and it was found that patients there if they were in ‘normal’ clothing they recovered far quicker. A different mindset helped.
This is a charity doing outstanding work in our community and now stretching further a field.
