Through the year, your generosity helps to support carefully selected and worthwhile local, national and international charities and appeals.

For example in 2018 we have been involved with establishing new gardens for The Hospice and supporting a wide range of Gedling Play Days throughout our area.

In 2017 we worked closely with Forever Stars in helping set up specialist rooms in our local hospitals to meet the needs of grieving parents. We also help to run the Gedling Dementia Café.

We have also raised well over £100,000 for local charities such as: Outward Bound Association, Blood Bikers we have helped this group save tens of thousands of pounds for the NHS as well as contributing to saving lives Annual contribution to the Mayor of Gedling’s Charity Nottingham Search and Rescue Team Derrymount Special School for a new community minibus. Arnold Brownies and Scouts Arnold Girls Brigade NORSACA The Teenage Cancer Trust Duke of Edinburgh’s Trust We also support international appeals for emergency relief aid and Care in the Community, a recent example has been the Send a Cow charity which aims to set people in Africa up in a worthwhile and sustaining occupation.

This year is going to be another magical time for us to share Santa Sleigh with our local communities and we look forward to greeting and meeting as many people as possible.
